Common questions before you order
What is the difference between EE-98J and EE-98? EE-98J is the journeyman worker credential. EE-98 is the contractor qualifier classification and adds broader contractor-level exam and business-law requirements.
Does this prepare every New Mexico component? No. It prepares the written NEC/theory work. The EE-98J practical, EE-98 Part 3 specialties, and Business & Law need separate preparation.
Which bulletin should I use? Use the current journeyman bulletin for EE-98J and the current contractor bulletin for EE-98. Their component lists and approved references differ.
How long should I study? Most successful students plan on roughly 4–8 weeks for the written Code and theory work, then add separate practice for any practical or specialty component.
