1. Agreement and Accounts
These Terms govern purchases from and use of JCR Productions, Inc. products, workshops, online courses, videos, digital materials, websites, applications, and related services. By ordering, enrolling, creating an account, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated into them. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use our services.
You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. You agree to provide accurate billing, shipping, contact, enrollment, and licensing information and are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Notify JCR Productions promptly if you suspect unauthorized account or course access.
2. Orders, Pricing, and Payment
We may correct errors and update descriptions, prices, availability, schedules, instructors, locations, and included materials before accepting an order. If we discover a material error after payment and cannot fulfill the order as described, we may offer a correction or substitute with your consent or cancel the affected portion and refund it.
Submitting an order does not require JCR Productions to accept it. We may reject or cancel an order for a pricing or description error, suspected fraud, unavailability, payment problems, capacity limits, or another legitimate business reason. If we cancel an accepted paid order, we will refund the applicable amount.
Prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and fees will be shown at checkout when required. You authorize JCR Productions and its payment processors to charge the payment method provided for the order total.
3. Educational Purpose and Results
JCR Productions provides educational and examination-preparation resources. Purchasing, attending, or completing them does not guarantee examination eligibility, licensure, continuing-education acceptance, employment, or a passing score. Customers are responsible for confirming their jurisdiction's current requirements, examination, code edition, approved references, and continuing-education rules.
Our materials do not replace an adopted code, official licensing or examination instructions, project-specific engineering or legal advice, required supervision, permits, inspections, or applicable safety requirements. Electrical work can be hazardous, and our materials do not authorize anyone to work beyond their training, license, or legal authority. Testimonials, historical pass rates, and student results do not guarantee a particular outcome.
4. Exam-Preparation Video Access
Purchases made on or after September 15, 2026: Access to online exam-preparation videos is provided for 120 consecutive calendar days beginning when JCR Productions grants access. Access then expires automatically, does not renew, and creates no recurring charge.
Students may replay the included videos as often as needed during their access period. Access is personal to the enrolled student and may not be shared or transferred.
The 120-day limit applies to exam-preparation video access. It does not affect ownership of printed materials or, by itself, shorten any separately described instructor-support benefit.
If a verified JCR Productions technical problem materially prevents access, contact us promptly and before the access period ends when reasonably possible. We will work to restore access and, when appropriate, replace time lost because of that problem. Any extension beyond the scheduled expiration date must be confirmed by JCR Productions in writing.
5. Digital Content and Intellectual Property
Videos, course content, practice questions, downloads, applications, and related materials are licensed to the purchaser for personal educational use; they are not sold or transferred. You may not share credentials; record, copy, distribute, resell, publish, upload, or publicly display protected content; create competing commercial materials; circumvent access controls; or let another person use your access. Downloading or printing is allowed only when JCR Productions expressly provides that capability.
JCR Productions' names, logos, course materials, designs, text, graphics, software, and other proprietary content are owned by or licensed to JCR Productions. No intellectual-property rights are transferred beyond the limited personal-use license stated here.
We may update digital content to correct errors, improve security, or reflect changes in codes, examinations, or regulatory information. We may suspend access while investigating suspected misuse and terminate access for a confirmed material violation. Except where law or our Return & Refund Policy requires otherwise, no refund is due for access terminated because of the purchaser's confirmed material violation.
6. Physical Products and Shipping
Physical products and workshop materials are shipped under our Shipping Policy, the applicable product page, and checkout. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by carriers, weather, holidays, address problems, and circumstances outside our control. Customers must provide a complete and accurate shipping address.
If we cannot ship within the stated time or the time required by law, we will request consent to a delay or provide the required refund for unshipped merchandise. Claims involving missing, incorrect, or damaged shipments must be submitted within the period stated in the Return & Refund Policy. We may require reasonable supporting information.
7. Workshops and Virtual Classes
Workshop registrations apply to the participant, date, location, and course identified in the order. Customers are responsible for applicable attendance, identification, participation, safety, and licensing requirements. JCR Productions may reasonably change an instructor, room, venue, or schedule. If we cancel or materially reschedule a workshop, the Return & Refund Policy applies.
For virtual classes only, customers are responsible for a compatible device, supported software, a reliable internet connection, and access to the email address provided at enrollment. This technical-requirements provision does not apply to physical products or in-person workshops.
8. Returns and Refunds
Returns, refunds, cancellations, transfers, and workshop credits are governed by our Return & Refund Policy. Eligible physical products may be returned only as described there. Shipping charges are non-refundable after materials have been mailed, except where that policy or applicable law requires otherwise.
9. Communications, Privacy, and Third Parties
We may send order confirmations, receipts, access instructions, policy notices, and other transaction-related communications electronically using the contact information you provide. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchase.
Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.
Our services may rely on third-party payment processors, carriers, video platforms, applications, testing providers, licensing agencies, venues, and linked websites. Those parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. JCR Productions is not responsible for their content, availability, policies, or acts except as required by law.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AND EXCEPT FOR EXPRESS WRITTEN PROMISES MADE BY JCR PRODUCTIONS, PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” JCR PRODUCTIONS DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not disclaim warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be disclaimed. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of Liability and Events Outside Our Control
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JCR PRODUCTIONS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST INCOME, LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, LICENSING DELAYS, EXAMINATION FEES, OR UNSUCCESSFUL EXAMINATION RESULTS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JCR PRODUCTIONS' AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM A PRODUCT OR SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THAT PRODUCT OR SERVICE.
These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury caused by negligence, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose, remedies required by law remain available.
JCR Productions is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events reasonably outside its control, including severe weather, emergencies, labor disruptions, carrier failures, venue closures, internet outages, government actions, or examination-provider changes. This does not eliminate rights required by law.
12. General Legal Terms
North Carolina law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another jurisdiction provides non-waivable consumer protections. To the extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought in the state courts in Iredell County, North Carolina, or the federal courts of the Western District of North Carolina. Eligible small-claims cases and requests for government-agency assistance are not restricted by this provision.
We may update these Terms prospectively and will revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes affecting an ongoing paid service will be communicated when reasonably required. Changes will not retroactively reduce a purchased benefit unless permitted by the agreement applicable to that purchase and by law.
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remainder will stay in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
These Terms, the applicable product or workshop description, the Return & Refund Policy, and the Shipping Policy constitute the agreement concerning a purchase or service. The Privacy Policy governs personal-information practices. If a product-specific written term presented at purchase conflicts with these general Terms, the more specific product term controls.
