Important Mississippi fit note
The Mississippi Master Electrician exam is open-book and currently uses the 2020 NEC along with additional references. Contractor applicants also take a separate mandatory Law & Business exam, unless otherwise exempt under current rules. JCR covers the NEC trade core—not Mississippi Law & Business, OSHA, licensing eligibility, or the NASCLA alternative.
