It focuses on the NEC/trade-code portion of the exam: code navigation, calculations, practice questions, mock exam work, and code book organization. Virginia and South Carolina applicants should still review any separate business law, state rules, or licensing requirements. Will this help for Virginia?
Yes, for the NEC/code portion of the Virginia Journeyman or Master Electrician exam. Virginia may also test state tradesman rules, which are separate from this NEC prep, so review the current candidate bulletin and JCR's Virginia electrical license guide.

Is this the same as taking a live JCR exam prep workshop?
It uses the same core JCR curriculum materials, including the manual, video lessons, practice questions, mock exam access, and code book tabs. The live workshops add classroom instruction and direct instructor support.
How long should I study?
Most successful students study for 4-8 weeks. Start with the manual and video lessons, then use the 500+ question mock exam and digital practice tools to find weak spots and build speed before exam day.
