Does JCR cover the Washington-law section? JCR teaches the NEC/theory and calculation work. Also study RCW 19.28 and WAC 296-46B for the Washington-code section.
Which exam edition should I use? The current PSI bulletin lists the 2020 NEC for licensing exams even though Washington’s adopted installation code may be newer. Recheck the bulletin before scheduling.
What is different for Administrator and Master? Both add a load-calculation section; Master also has a larger NEC/theory and Washington-code question load.
How long should I study? Most students who pass study 6–8 weeks, about an hour a night, for the NEC/theory work and add focused Washington-law study.
