What You'll Learn

Day 1 - Foundation & Navigation

NEC structure, code navigation methods, Ohm’s Law, core electrical formulas, branch-circuit and feeder load calculations, standard vs. optional dwelling calculations, and service load calculations.

Day 2 - Application & Systems

Ampacity tables, conductor sizing, box fill, conduit and cable-tray fill, wire-bending space, motors and motor circuits, grounding and bonding, services, overcurrent protection, and special occupancies.

How to Prepare for This Workshop

You can join at any point in your preparation. Four to six weeks of study is a useful target, not a registration requirement. If class is soon, start the included videos, try a practice exam and bring your questions.

4-6 Weeks Before Workshop:

Order your exam prep package and begin self-study. Work through the NEC workbook 1-2 hours daily. Watch online videos at your own pace.

During Self-Study:

Take practice exams. Identify your weak areas. Reach out to Victor via phone or email if you get stuck.

At the Workshop:

Spend two focused days learning how to navigate the NEC, solve calculations, recognize exam traps, and apply the workbook and practice questions with Victor’s live guidance.

2-4 Weeks After Workshop: Schedule and take your exam with PSI. You'll walk in confident and prepared.

Do I need to bring my code book?

Yes. Bring your 2020 NEC for reference during the workshop.

We report to the NC Board within 5 business days of workshop completion. Multi-state reporting available for $25/state.
