What You'll Learn
Day 1 - Foundation & Navigation
Code navigation methods, NEC structure and formatting, Ohm's Law and electrical calculations, branch circuit and feeder load calculations, standard vs. optional calculation methods, service load calculations.
Day 2 - Application & Systems
Conductors and ampacity tables, wire bending spaces and box fill, cable tray and conduit fill, motors and motor circuits, bonding and grounding (Article 250), services and overcurrent protection, special locations ("Book of Specials").

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to bring my code book?
Yes. You'll need the 2020 NEC and 2013 NFPA 72. These are the books you'll use during the actual exam.
What if I can't attend both days?
Both days are required. You must attend the complete 16-hour workshop to receive materials and exam prep certification.
Can I get CEUs if I'm already licensed?
Yes. Licensed electricians receive 18 classroom CEUs in NC, plus an additional online course for 24 total CEUs. Add multi-state reporting for $25/state.
