Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing requires 16 hours of Continuing Education every 2 years (at least 12 hours on the NEC).

Utah’s Continuing Education requirements are organized as: Core Hours and Professional Hours

JCR classes are approved and listed with Utah as follows:

  • Power Quality and 2020 Code Changes (In-Person or Virtual): 8 Core Hours
  • Detailed NEC Workshop (two-day workshop only): 16 Core Hours and 3 Professional Hours
  • Utah: Review & Renew the NEC (Online): 8 Core Hours

Attendees must sign an Utah roster upon entrance into the workshop and include their License Number. For licenses ending with 5502, 5503, 5504, 5505, 5506; not approved for Contractors
