North Carolina
North Carolina Licensing Board requires 8 hours (Limited, Intermediate, Unlimited, Single Family Dwelling) or 4 hours (FA/LV, EL, PH, WP, ES, SP) of Continuing Education every year with the ability to “bank” a total of 3 years. Half of your hours must be in a classroom setting.
JCR classes are approved with North Carolina as follows:
- 8 hour: Continuing Education- Full Day (in person or virtual)
- 4 hour: Continuing Education- AM Session (in person or virtual)
- 4 hour: Continuing Education- PM Session (virtual)
- 10 hour: Detailed NEC Workshop Day 1
- 10 hour: Detailed NEC Workshop Day 2
- 8 hour: Online Course
- 4 hour: Online Course
- 6 hour: Business Management
Attendees must sign a North Carolina roster upon entrance into the workshop. They include their License Number and last four of their Social Security Number for reporting purposes.
