North Carolina- Code Officials Qualification Board (DOI)
North Carolina Department of Insurance requires 8 hours of Continuing Education per year. Unlike the Electrical Board, DOI does not “bank” hours. You may only attend a workshop ONCE within a three year period for credit.
JCR classes are approved and listed with DOI as follows:
- Power Quality and 2020 NEC Changes: 8 hours
- Detailed NEC Workshop- Navigation and Calculations (Day 1): 8 hours
- Detailed 2017 NEC- Wiring Methods and General Code Applications (Day 2): 8 hours
Attendees must sign a DOI roster upon entrance into the workshop and provide their License Number.
