Idaho
Idaho Division of Building Safety requires 24 hours of *Continuing Education every 3 years for Journeyman and Master Electricians. Idaho requires at least 8 of your hours to be on Code Update (CU). Your remaining hours may come from a combination of the following: Code Update (CU), Code Related (CR), Industry Related (IR). You may not take the same course for credit within a 3-year cycle.

Journeyman (J) / Master (M) / Apprentice yearly or 5-year (A)
JCR classes are approved with Idaho as follows: {based on Master Electrician; call for Journeyman categories}
- 8 hour: Continuing Education- Full Day (in person or virtual) {CU}
- 4 hour: Continuing Education- AM Session (in person or virtual) {CU}
- 4 hour: Continuing Education- PM Session (virtual) {CU}
- 8 hour: Detailed NEC Workshop Day 1 {CR}
- 8 hour: Detailed NEC Workshop Day 2 {CU}
- 8 hour: Online Course {IR}
Attendees must sign an Idaho roster upon entrance into the workshop and include their License Number.
