This is the first day of our comprehensive Exam Preparation Workshop.

You get to learn about the basic flow and navigation of the National Electrical Code & National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code Books. You will be “reintroduced” to these references by relating common slang terms to the formal terminology. The instructor helps connect real life situations to these references so that students are more comfortable and familiar with utilizing their NEC and NFPA.

Learning Objectives

    • Students will learn correct terminology used in the NEC and NFPA.
    • Students will learn the arrangement of the NEC and NFPA in order to locate needed information.
    • Students will practice calculations and relate these calculations to the NEC.

While this workshop provides licensed electricians the opportunity to earn *CEUs, keep in mind that this course has been structured as a two-day workshop for those preparing to test for the Electrical Exam. 

*Earn 10 CEUs in North Carolina; Additional States CEU Reporting Options available (ex: adding Ohio State Reporting will provide 10 CEUs to the state of Ohio, adding Virginia State Reporting will provide 3 CEUs to the state of Virginia, etc).
